The 2023-24 Budget: College of the Law, San Francisco

Mar 8, 2023 - After hovering at approximately 950 full ‑time equivalent (FTE) students from 2016 ‑17 through 2020 ‑21, the school grew its enrollment notably in 2021 ‑22. That year, it enrolled 155 additional FTE  students, with its total enrollment reaching 1,099  students.

The 2019-20 Budget: Hastings College of the Law

Apr 24, 2019 - The school plans to decrease its enrollment slightly (to a total of around 950 students) beginning in 2021 ‑22. Recent Increase in Tuition Discounting Has Resulted in Budget Deficit. Similar to other law schools across the nation, Hastings discounts all or a portion of tuition for many students.

California Community Colleges—Managing Cash in a Time of State Payment Deferrals

Dec 18, 2020 - The state began using payment deferrals during the dot ‑com bust but relied much more heavily on them during the Great Recession. The practice of deferring college payments peaked in 2011 ‑12, when the state deferred a total of $ 961  m illion in CCC payments —accounting for nearly 30  p ercent of CCC Proposition  98 General Fund support.
