Mar 10, 2016 - The total project cost for the FI$Cal System was estimated at about $620  million, about $1  billion less than estimated in SPR 2. The cost reduction is attributed to (1) updated estimates and (2) the move to a more phased implementation approach that resulted in lower overall project costs through reduced risk to the vendor and lower state staffing costs.
