Oct 1, 2021 - This measure amends the Constitution to authorize games played with cards or tiles, including blackjack and baccarat, as long as they are not banking games, at cardrooms. The measure specifies that any revenues generated by these additional gaming activities will be subject to local tax or fee requirements that were in place as of January 2021.

Proposition 14 [Ballot]

Nov 3, 2020 - The proposition limits the amount of bonds the state could sell to $540  million per year, thereby spreading out bond sales over at least 11  years. For the first five years after the proposition is approved, the state would make interest payments using funds from the bond sales, thereby reducing the amount of bond funding available for research projects.
