Assessing Community College Programs at State Prisons

Jul 1, 2024 - Unlike CCC funding for most other student groups, CCC funding for incarcerated students is not linked to performance. Instead, the associated apportionments funding depends only on enrollment. Without performance ‑based funding or some other form of state accountability for student outcomes, colleges lack strong incentives to improve their  results.
