The 2023-24 California Spending Plan: Human Services

Nov 6, 2023 - The Governor ’s January budget proposal pushed the expected implementation back to January 2027. However, under the final budget agreement, implementation is now expected in October 2025. The 2023-24 spending plan includes $40  million General Fund for automation and outreach efforts associated with the expansion.
