Proposition 35 [Ballot]

Nov 5, 2024 - Some of these funding increases began in 2024, but most will begin in 2025 and 2026. Once they all begin in 2026, the increases likely would result in around $4  billion more for Medi-Cal annually. Around half of this amount will come from the health plan tax.

Proposition 15 [Ballot]

Nov 3, 2020 - The measure reduces the taxable value of each business ’s equipment by $500,000 starting in 2024. Businesses with less than $500,000 of equipment pay no taxes on those items. All property taxes on business equipment are eliminated for California businesses that meet certain rules and have 50 or fewer employees.
