A proposed constitutional and statutory initiative related to poverty reduction. [Ballot]

Sep 4, 2015 - The measure provides a total of $220  million in 2017-18 for three-year grants to child care and preschool providers. The CDE would be required to commence grant awards prior to June 30, 2022. The measure bases the new grant program on an existing federal planning and implementation grant program for charter schools.

Funding for arts and music education in schools. [Ballot]

Dec 21, 2021 - The remaining 30  percent would be distributed based on each LEA ’s share of low-income students statewide.
