Jun 30, 2026 - Introduction Chapter 96 of 2023 (AB 1080, Ta) directs our office to submit a report evaluating the results of realigning certain adult felony populations from the state to counties in 2011. Specifically, the law directs our office to report various pieces of information, including the amount of funding received per county, information on sentencing practices, impacts on county jail populations, and recidivism outcomes.
