May 7, 2021 - While rates of health care coverage have not been impaired in a sustained way during the pandemic, access to health care does not simply depend on whether someone has coverage. Health care access has been at least temporarily hurt by the pandemic: health care employment fell, service utilization declined, and significant portions of Californians have reported delaying or foregoing care.
