Measuring CalWORKs Performance

Sep 6, 2017 - The second change to performance measurement and accountability in CalWORKs was the creation of the CPR process, enacted by Chapter  75 of 2006 (AB 1808, Committee on Budget). Under this process, each county is periodically visited by representatives from DSS and peer counties to review the county ’s performance on existing performance measures, including the federal WPR and Pay for Performance measures, and receive technical assistance.
