Constitutional initiative related to medical marijuana. [Ballot]

Sep 8, 2015 - Impedes a patient 's ability to obtain, transport, or cultivate marijuana, so long as (1)  the method of obtaining, cultivating, or transporting marijuana is consistent with the business practices and/or cultivation practices used for other non-prohibited flora in the l aw ’s jurisdiction, and (2) no medical marijuana business or cultivation activities occur within 600  feet of a K-12 school, unless approved by local authorities.

After helping cover the cost on Medi-Cal enrollment for MCOs, the state is planning to use the MCO tax for two key purposes. Jun 9, 2015 - The measure also allows the Legislature to place additional taxes on   businesses cultivating more than 99 marijuana plants. Zoning Restrictions for Marijuana Businesses. The measure prohibits the establishment of (1) retail marijuana businesses on property not zoned for commercial use, (2) outdoor commercial marijuana cultivation on land zoned pri marily for residential use, and (3) indoor commercial marijuana cultivation on land not zoned for industrial use.

Oct 8, 2019 - Under the measure, 99 flowering female plants and 12 pounds of dried flower produced per adult (21 or older) per year are assumed to be for personal rather than commercial use. The measure prohibits taxing, permitting, or licensing cannabis for personal use.
