DMV Shift to Online Services Due to COVID-19

Oct 16, 2020 - In contrast, about 66  percent of driver ’s license renewals and 84  percent of ID card renewals occurred in field offices. Although other service channels, such as online and mail, exist for driver ’s license and ID card renewals, more than half of the customers currently need to go into the field office due to federal regulations for REAL ID.
