The 2024-25 Budget: Overview of the Governor's Budget

State Funding Actions Related to COVID-19

Under the authority in Government Code Sections 8566, 8567, and 8645, the Governor indicated he could use emergency powers to transfer funds from other legally available state funds into DREOA in order to spend more on the COVID-19 response, as needed.
