When an employee approaches or exceeds the cap, managers are supposed to work with the employee to develop a plan to ensure that the employee is able to take time off to keep their leave balance below the applicable cap.

Newsom), while 71 percent of the incarcerated population in California state prisons has received at least on dose of a COVID-19 vaccine, only 49 percent of correctional staff have had at least one dose of a vaccine.
