Sep 10, 2024 - The General Fund amount is a net decrease of $198  million (6  percent) from the revised 2023-24 amount. This net decrease is largely due to a one-time reduction in General Fund support for the branch offset by increased support from the Trial Court Trust Fund (TCTF) and an ongoing reduction to baseline trial court operations to help address the state ’s budget problem.

Assessing Community College Programs at State Prisons

Jul 1, 2024 - Figure  6 shows that success rates are consistently lower for students in correspondence courses. In fall 2019 (the year just before the pandemic), the gap in success rates between in ‑person and correspondence courses was 15  percentage points.

Apr 11, 2025 - The proposed formula has three different payments: (1)  a performance payment, (2)  a maintenance payment, and (3)  a minimum guarantee payment. These payments would determine each county ’s total SB  678 grant award.
