The 2025-26 Budget: School Nutrition

Mar 4, 2025 - Since 2021 ‑22, the state provided the Nutrition Policy Institute, a research institute affiliated with the University of California, $7  million to evaluate universal meals. As  part of this initiative the Nutrition Policy Institute conducted focus groups of California middle and high school students to understand their perception of universal meals.
