MOU Fiscal Analysis: Bargaining Unit 6 (Corrections)

Jun 23, 2025 - The agreement would provide a 3  percent GSI on July 1, 2025 and another 3  percent GSI on July 1, 2027. A GSI adjusts the entire salary range for each classification represented by a bargaining unit, meaning that the pay increase applies to all Unit 6 members.

Refocusing the Workers’ Compensation Subsequent Injury Program

Jul 10, 2025 - A recent analysis of SIBTF cases found that, on average, an injured worker ’s: (1)  standard workers ’ compensation claim for the subsequent injury took five years to finalize, (2)  the worker filed for SIBTF benefits about one year after that, and (3)  state staff took an additional five years to process their SIBTF claim.
