While the Governor ’s budget continues to assume a total of 62,080  new CCTR slots will be added by 2026 ‑27, the administration proposes changes to how these slots are phased in relative to 2023 ‑24 Budget Act .

This growth in IHSS hourly wages is in part due to increases to the state minimum wage —from $8  per hour on January 1, 2014 to $16.90 per hour on January  1,  2026.
