Achieving the Goals of the SB 678 County Probation Grant Program

Oct 10, 2023 - As  previously mentioned, funding was first provided to counties in 2011 ‑12 based on their performance in 2010. Thus, S B  678 provided an incentive for counties to reduce their felony probation failure rates beginning in 2010.

Overview and Update on the Prison Receivership

Nov 8, 2023 - As shown in Figure  3 below, inflation ‑adjusted spending on medical care increased every year over this time period, with the exception of 2009 ‑10 and 2010 ‑ 11 —when spending was reduced in response to the Great Recession —and 2012 ‑ 13 —when spending declined due to a reduction in the prison population associated with the 2011 realignment.

The 2022-23 Budget: Judicial Branch Proposals
