As of July 20, the Department of Finance had not yet provided final approval of UC's 2020-21 capital outlay projects. The list shown reflects projects expected to be approved by the administration later this summer.
All previous phases were supported with nonstate funds.
With one exception, UC will finance the state cost of these projects using university bonds. The annual debt service associated with the new university bonds is estimated to be $32 million. For the Powell Library seismic project, UC will finance the state cost using remaining funds from Propositions 121 (1990), 153 (1992), 203 (1996), 47 (2002), 55 (2004), and 1D (2006).
D = design. P = preliminary plans. W = working drawings. C = construction.
