Recent Changes to State and County IHSS Wage and Benefit Costs

Dec 14, 2018 - Under the 10  percent option, the state ’s and counties ’ share of cost are based on the historical cost-sharing ratios for nonfederal IHSS service costs (65  percent and 35  percent, respectively). Counties can increase wages and benefits by 10  percent all at once or over a three-year period.
