Jan 6, 2020 - DOJ cases in California while $77. 6  m illion — 66  p ercent —was distributed within the state. As shown in Figure  5 , this represented a major increase in the state ’s share. It is possible that this increase was due to the federal government delaying to 2016 some distributions that normally would have been allocated in 2015 due to budget cuts, as mentioned previously.
