Mental Health Services Act: Impact of Governor's Proposal on Funding for Children and Youth

Aug 10, 2023 - The Governor ’s proposal would make major changes to how counties allocate MHSA revenues beginning July 1, 2026. The majority of MHSA funding —92   percent —still would go to counties, but the proposal shifts the focus of the funding allocations towards both FSPs (as a statutory requirement) and housing.
