Feb 23, 2016 - The current driver license fee is $33 and was last increased by $1 in 2014. The driver license fee is also indexed to the CPI. The remaining MVA revenues primarily come from late fees associated with vehicle registration and driver license renewals, identification card fees, and miscellaneous fees for special permits and certificates (such as fees related to the regulation of automobile dealers and driver training schools).
