Jun 14, 2019 - Few Women Correctional Officers. The profession of correctional officer historically has been dominated by men. Since 2003, the share of Unit  6 members who are women has declined. Specifically, whereas 21  percent of Unit  6 members were women in 2003, 18  percent of Unit  6 members were women in 2018.
