Measuring CalWORKs Performance

Sep 6, 2017 - A fourth measure —the percentage of CalWORKs participants with earnings sufficient to receive the maximum benefit from the federal earned income tax credit —was added later. In order to receive incentive funding from the Pay for Performance program, counties would either have to make a minimum level of improvement on a given performance measure or rank in the top 20  percent of counties.
