The 2019-20 May Revision: Analysis of the Governor’s January and May Mental Health Workforce Proposals

May 16, 2019 - The May Revision proposes allocating $100  million in state MHSA revenues to fund the 2020 ‑25 WET Five-Year Plan. The 2020 ‑25 WET Plan was released by OSHPD in February 2019, but until the May Revision did not come with any attached funding.

Oct 22, 2021 - The spending plan provides $33.7 billion General Fund for health programs. This is an increase of $6.7 billion, or 25 percent, compared to the revised 2020‑21 spending level. This year-over-year increase primarily is due to significant growth in projected General Fund spending in Medi-Cal.

The 2023-24 Budget: Assessment of Covered California Budget Solution

Feb 13, 2023 - State Established Three-Year Premium Subsidy Program Beginning in 2020. The subsidy program was designed as a three-year program from 2020 through 2022 that was designed to further reduce premium costs for certain Covered California enrollees beyond the level of support received from the existing federal premium subsidies and expand eligibility to households making up to 600  percent of the federal poverty level.
