Caseload Estimate Appears Reasonable. The administration estimates an average monthly CalWORKs caseload of about 355,000 households in 2024- 25 —this represents increases of about 2  percent compared to its most recent estimate for 2023-24 and less than 1  percent compared to its January 2024-25 estimate.
