Mar 17, 2026 - The CCC Board of Governors adopted the current scoring system in September 2020. Scoring System Includes Three Project Categories. Under its current scoring system, the Chancellor ’s Office allocates available bond funding across three project categories: life safety, modernization, and growth.

Feb 24, 2026 - In 2020‑21 and 2021‑22, the state applied certain supplemental payments towards CalPERS costs, which lowered rates to 29 percent. Since then, rates have generally stabilized around 32 percent. Spending Increases for Financial Aid Are Primarily Due to Tuition Increases.

Nov 7, 2024 - The 2020 LRDP further lowered the campus ’s enrollment targets. (Unlike earlier LRDPs which tended to set annual targets, the 2020 LRDP set enrollment targets for only 2020 ‑21 and 2030 ‑31.) UC Merced fell short of its 2020 ‑21 target (9,700 FTE students) by 515 FTE  students.
