Jul 13, 2023 - If all counties had kept their 2019-20 caps in place, the effective reserve for 2022-23 (22  percent) would have been far below the year-over-year decrease in revenue. While 2022-23 was the largest single year-over-year decrease in MHSA revenue, the combined decrease over 2010-11 and 2011-12 combined was 39  percent; thus, we would describe the 2022-23 decrease as a large but not unprecedented decrease.

Oct 23, 2023 - The temporary rate increase ended May 11, 2023. The spending plan includes $836,000 General Fund ($1.7  million total funds) to restore this rate increase for pediatric subacute facilities effective January 1, 2024.
