Feb 8, 2024 - As part of an agreement to appropriate the remaining unappropriated Proposition  1A bond funds for HSRA, the Legislature adopted Chapter  71 of 2022 (SB  198, Committee on Budget and Fiscal Review). Among other provisions, Chapter  71 created the HSRA OIG to improve oversight of the high-speed rail project and provide accurate, current, and impartial information to inform project decisions.
