Sep 9, 2025 - We highlight the changes relative to the 2024 MOU below. Increases 2025-26 Special Salary Adjustments for Employees Below Top Step of Salary Ranges. The 2024 MOU included pay increases in 2025-26 of (1)  between 4  percent and 5  percent for employees at the top step of their classification ’s salary range and (2)  3  percent for employees not at the top step of their classification ’s salary range.

Aug 19, 2025 - The administration estimates that this will result in annual costs under the agreement being more than $30  million (more than $20  million General Fund) higher than state costs in 2024-25. After accounting for effects on unplanned overtime costs, we estimate that the agreement would result in state payroll costs for Unit 8-affiliated rank-and-file and excluded employees to increase by more than 3  percent relative to 2024-25 levels.

MOU Fiscal Analysis: Bargaining Unit 6 (Corrections)

Jun 23, 2025 - The agreement would provide a 3  percent GSI on July 1, 2025 and another 3  percent GSI on July 1, 2027. A GSI adjusts the entire salary range for each classification represented by a bargaining unit, meaning that the pay increase applies to all Unit 6 members.
