Jun 22, 2015 - This measure amends the State Constitution to increase the homeowners ’ property tax exemption from $7,000 to $32,000, effective January 2017. This would increase a typical homeowner ’s exemption from around $80  to roughly $365 per year.

Nov 30, 2015 - Our estimate of the allocatio n of new excise tax revenues in 2017-18 (the first full-year impact) is shown in Figure  2. After backfilling losses in existing tax revenue (described in more detail below), the new cigarette excise tax would generate an estimated $1  billion to $1.4  billion in net revenue in 2017-18 for the purposes described in the measure.
