Feb 27, 2025 - As Figure 6 shows, more than one ‑third of UC campus employees in 2023 ‑24 served in academic positions, with the remainder serving in various nonacademic positions. Nonacademic positions include managers, program directors, and support staff serving in many areas, including maintenance, food services, student advising and counseling, human resources, budget, accounting, and information technology, among  others.

Mar 7, 2025 - The state sets each of the fee rates in statute. It periodically adjusts the rates, typically in response to rising court costs. In 2024, the state charged a $605 filing fee to seek an appeal or writ from a Court of Appeal and a $540 filing fee to seek a writ from the Supreme Court.
