These estimates are very similar to the numbers in Figure  1, indicating that recent immigration does not explain those age patterns.

Mar 2, 2017 - In 1977 ‑78, the state had a reserve equal to over $11  billion in today ’s dollars, or nearly 20  percent greater than total reserves proposed by the Governor in the 2017 ‑18 budget.
