Feb 11, 2026 - The budget proposes $1.2  million General Fund in 2026-27 (decreasing to $259,000 annually beginning in 2027-28) for the implementation of Chapter  591. Chapter  591 requires the sale or transfer of firearm barrels be completed in person by a licensed firearms dealer.
