Update on Community College Reserves

Jan 27, 2021 - Restricted Reserves Dropped in 2019 ‑20. Unrestricted reserves comprise 85  percent of total systemwide reserves, with restricted reserves comprising 15  percent. In contrast to unrestricted reserves, systemwide restricted reserves dropped $41  million (10  percent) from June 30, 2019 to June 20, 2020 —falling to $360  million.

May 8, 2019 - As of this writing, DSS is in the process of finalizing contracts for 2019 ‑20 and 2020 ‑21 using the one-time funding provided in the 2018 ‑19 budget.
