Dec 10, 2024 - CHP stops dropped 25  percent in the second quarter of 2020 but mostly rebounded in the third quarter of 2020. Since then, stops have been trending slightly downward and were about 10  percent below pre ‑pandemic levels in 2022 (the most recent year for which data  are  available).
