Update on Student Housing Assistance

May 7, 2024 - Of the 342 students who enrolled in the rapid rehousing program across the first two years of implementation, CSU reports that 173 students (51  percent) moved into permanent housing. CSU indicates it considers students to have moved into permanent housing once they are paying for their own housing independently from the program.

Update on Community College Reserves

Jan 27, 2021 - All but 1 of the 15 districts reported having a local unrestricted reserve policy. Two of the 15 districts had a local policy of holding unrestricted reserves of 5  percent of annual unrestricted expenditures, the same as the Chancellor ’s Office ’s systemwide guidance.
