Update on Student Housing Assistance

May 7, 2024 - Of the 116  community colleges, 64 applied to participate in the rapid rehousing program after it was initially created. The CCC Chancellor ’s Office evaluated the applications based on several metrics related to county ‑level need (such as the percentage of the county population living below the poverty line) and institutional need (such as the percentage of students who are Pell Grant recipients, foster youth, veterans, or students with disabilities).
